We facilitate access to a wide range of quality agricultural inputs and services such as:
• Seeds, Fingerlings
• Fertilizer and Agrochemicals
• Plant protection products
• Livestock feed
• Farm Tools and Technologies
• Modern Equipment and Machinery
The goal is to enable SHFs produce and scale-up sustainability from subsistence to commercial agriculture
Extension Services
We provide best-in-class Extension Services aimed at maximizing farm yields and ROI through action-based and impact-focused extension services, Grolink provides small holder farmers with valuable knowledge and insights pertaining to agricultural techniques and skills to improve their productivity, food security and livelihood. Our Extension services include:
• Training of farming techniques and best practices
• Technology Transfer Sessions
• Use of Tools and equipment
• Live Demo Farming
• Continuous Advisory and Support Services

Access to Finance
We facilitate access to diverse sources of funds
We understand that small holder farmers are mostly uneducated, with insufficient collateral and little understanding of the implication of contracts.

Market Access Services
We focus on creating effective markets by facilitating offtake agreements with large-scale buyers
Productivity gains can mean little without expanded access to markets.
We know that market structures in rural areas are very weak and that undeveloped market demand for outputs discourages producers from raising production.
Grolink focuses on creating effective markets by facilitating high-value private sector participation
Through strong partnerships with large-scale agro-processing companies within and outside Nigeria – Grolink guarantees a robust pipeline of Off takers.
OPERATIONAL STRATEGY
Farm Preparation and Set up
- As part of farmer selection process, Grolink assesses outgrower farms for suitability and readiness
- Where outgrower farms fall a little below baseline requirement, Grolink would advice on improvement actions and re assess at a specified date.
- In selected instances, Grolink provides additional investment (asides standard agricultural input) to ensure readiness of out grower farms.
- In such cases, the additional investments are evaluated and systematically deducted from commodity price at the end of farming cycles
- Preparatory activities may include essential repairs, clearing and other ‘house keepings’ requirements
Agriculture Extension Services
- Grolink delivers extension services using an ‘assess design deliver evaluate’ methodology
- Train the trainer sessions are provided for extension officers (and lead farmers) to ensure quality and consistency in knowledge application, farming techniques and behaviors.
- Extension services are both planned and situation based at individual, group or mass levels
- Our Extension Service methods include Farm Visits, Group Meetings, Demonstrations, Field Days, Extension Campaigns, Formal Training Days, Capacity Building Workshops and Village/Town Hall Meetings
- These are organized, funded and facilitated using Grolink and Buyer resources. Development Agencies/Partners, Consultants, Donors and other stakeholder organizations may also provide support
